I'll also teach you two of my favorite ways to enter this pose on spinning pole! Despite what you might have been told or think, you don't need to be able to do a freestanding handstand to hold a Straight Edge. It does help, but it's not a prerequisite for this trick.
When you're new to training Straight Edge it's important to drill yourself to tuck the chin to the chest anytime you're upside down. Chin to chest is considered the safest way to protect your head in a fall. Relaxing the body is also important.
