Today is a quick day, and don't worry—even though I'm covering inverts, no one will actually be inverting today. However, everyone will be working on the first steps to a lovely, floating controlled momentum style of invert. Remember you can actively take notes while watching my tips video.
Pro tip: If you've been part of my pole family for a while, you'll know I'm not a big fan of deadlifting (hips in front of the pole and lift with no momentum) into your inverts. Yes, it has a time and place, and it's a great flex, and helpful in preparing you for aerial inverts and perhaps adding a dramatic pause before a powerful slow invert. Deadlifting doesn't promote flow while performing, which is ultimately what this program is about, so the controlled momentum invert is what you'll practice.
