Xpole or Amazon Pole Setup

This is a video from 2009 when X-Pole used to have screw-together pole pieces. This video should also be helpful for those who have purchased an off-brand pole on Amazon, as those screw together.

If you enjoy using static pole and doing static spins, you'll want to be aware that this action of spinning around the pole while it's on static can unscrew the pieces. So make sure to check your pole often while practicing if you spin in the same direction as the threads to unscrew the pieces.

• Always install your pole according to the instructions.
• Check all screws, joints and any pieces that aren't permanent every time you pole dance.
• If something doesn't feel right, get off and check the pole.
• Try a static spin like the Fireman or Carousel before any inverted tricks.
• Wear grippy shoes for the push-pull test so you can put enough force into the test. Don't wear socks like I did!
