For about three years, I've observed pole from a far, the safety of secrecy, knowing my family would never accept it as a career though I want to much to compete and open my own studio. I've never had the opportunity to touch a pole, sad, I know. But I do find pleasure in watching the progress and dances of others; especially Veena, she has an amazing body, strength and dance skills I could only ever dream of. Maybe one day I'll get my own pole and when I do, you'll see a lot of me and my little girl... until then, I'm here, in shadows, silently praising all you polers!
