I've never felt as sexy as I do when I'm pole dancing!! I have been pole dancing since last January 1, 2009. The first thing my first instructor ever taught me was 1. attitude 2. Your sexy walk should say nobody is sexier than you 3. and love the pole....The first time I pole danced i was so nervous i was looking at the floor while i did my first fireman...I heard her scream at me "LOOK AT YOURSELF IN THE MIRROR!!" I was too nervous too even do that but with time I did with pole dancing you really don't have a choice. I always had a weird look throughout childhood from my braces to my glasses to my long legs ....and just being an African American woman and not having the curves of a coke bottle i was never good enough the size I was meant to be. Since I started pole dancing I don't look at myself and see my imperfections, but now pole dancing has helped me see the beauty in myself just as I am flaws and all. Through the the polelateaz studio I joined i've met some great girlfriends, and instructors that are patient, caring, and true pole addicts like me. I still have a lot to learn in the upcoming year...knee hold, jackknife, extended butterfly but i am up for the challenge. My teachers inspire me to learn more pole moves, become my fluid with my moves, and to practice practice practice!!! Our favorite motto is "Pole dancing ain't for punks!!" Bruises don't mean anything to us...kind of like a badge of honor that i actually did ____ pole move!!! I have come to love Studio Veena it reminds me of facebook...I hope to make some really cool pole pals this coming year...i think people would relate to me more once i post my first video cause i haven't really made a connection to anyone yet but i hope i will soon...i would love to find someone that i can relate to that loves pole dancing as much as me with love, kitty I am a student at PoleLaTeaz in Atlanta, GA, and i must admit I am addicted to pole dancing!! Its the way I express myself through dance as well as relieve stress from every day life.
