I started polling January of 2014 and fell in love. I was doing two or three pole classes/week but it got too expensive :). I found StudioVeena while doing research to find my own pole for home and love this great resource! My main hurdles are flexibility, flow, and chronic injuries in my right shoulder and left wrist.
