Hello! My name is Michelle Stanek and I am addicted to pole dancing. I am the 2011 Pole Dance Universe champion and the USPDF 2011 Amateur champion! I also hold the titles of PFA "Pole Drama" 2010 1st place winner and Polesque 2010 winner. I also placed 4th in the prestigious 2011 Pole Art competition in Helsinki, Finland. I live in New York and teach at Body & Pole, ShockRA and Crunch Gyms. I am one of three master trainers for the X-Pert instructor certification program, along with my friends and colleagues Kyra J and Marlo. It's a partnership between Crunch and X-Pole and endorsed by AFAA and ACE and totally worth it to take your teaching, studio and students to the next level! I also have my BA and MA in Art History and used to be a college professor, teaching freshman at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and Manhattan all about the history of art from the 14th-17th centuries. I traveled to Italy each summer to lecture and give tours in Rome, Assisi and Venice. I love to travel. I love my tall, handsome, supportive man. I love action-adventure-vacations. I love sharing the love of pole dancing to women and men of all ages around the world and seeing how it just makes lives better! And I love the opportunity to show what pole dance means to me—a form of dance that is, yes, inherently sensual but can that be presented in unusual, odd or non-obvious ways; something creative; something beautiful; something challenging.
