Well, i've been a stripper for 17 years. I quit a few years back. I danced, I bartended, I managed, cleaned, supervised a strip club for half my life. I quit because i'm getting older and i'm not as young and cute as all those 20 year olds and the mean people took over. Mostly, the mean people took over and pretty much shut Louisville's strip clubs down. It got very political and I lost its joy. But! I miss it so much!!! I can't stop myself at 3am from watching all these talented pole dancers on youtube ;) and then posting them to facebook. All my friends think i'm crazy. Most of everyone I know means being a dancer or stripper means you're a hooker or a drug addict or just a bad person in general. Stigma's suck! I'm just the same as you or her or him. But I like to dance and compete with myself and watch others dance. So what if I dance on a pole. It just means I found a different way to successfully express myself. When i'm up there, the world can't touch me or reach me or hurt me. Hell, I can't even hurt myself. I am superwoman on that pole! And i'm going to prove Louisville, Kentucky wrong in so many ways. I miss my girls too. We had so many good times.
