Jeanette learned pole acrobatics in New York City in 2009 after having danced in Super Bowl XXXVII, Disneyland, the NBA and ABA, as well as choreographing and performing aerial circus for two years in four resorts worldwide. She quickly started teaching acro-pole full time while training alongside big industry names like Marlo, Aerial Amy, Carolyn Chiu and Michelle Stanek. Shortly before moving back to her old stomping grounds in Los Angeles, she was contracted to create choreography for the GLEE Project; perform a 3-hour weekly go-go pole dance set for Hell's Kitchen in Newark; and write bi-weekly for a pole and aerial-specific blog, Poleista. After a brief hiatus from the dance and circus arts to have a baby in 2011, Jeanette continued her pole and aerial circus training intensely in Los Angeles. She also continued teaching, performing and choreographing for various projects, as well as working as an extra in Hollywood -- some of which was for pole dance. Jeanette currently lives in Santa Cruz and is one of the directors of the Santa Cruz Aerial Playground, where she also teaches pole (Vertical Barre) and aerial circus classes. Jeanette has just recently developed her own stage show production company, Stellaria Productions, while she continues to choreograph and perform in various venues throughout Northern California.
