Well, I don't remember if the YouTube videos got to me originally or what brought me to pole exactly. I did a level one class 10 years ago, but didn't have much fun as I was alone. Then I found Veena on YouTube! All of the YouTube videos that I lost myself in, oh my gosh! Checking out the videos here I talked my husband into getting me a pole for Xmas a few years ago. It sat for too long alone with no love. I was strong enough I could find a cool picture and replicate it, but I knew it wasn't proper or any of the sorts haha. I didn't know basics, how to properly get in and out of things, or how to transition between them. Now I'm in level 7 of 22 at the studio I attend, and we are finally getting into the good stuff! Pole aside I'm into anything outdoorsy really, and crocheting when the weather is bad. I've been a giant tom boy my entire life and hope I can get to a point of gracefulness where pole makes me feel pretty. One day.... Hahaha
