Today, if you haven't already, it's time to try and take one leg off the pole and it doesn't matter which leg you choose.
Pro tip: Did you know "losing" or being unable to do a trick the next time you try is part of the learning process, via neuroplasticity? This is due to you developing new neural pathways, but you're in the cognitive stage [just learning] and haven't yet reached the autonomous [automatic] stage through repetition. So at first you might have initial success then temporarily forget until practice is solidified as motor memory. It's normal for skills to feel inconsistent as your brain builds and refines neural connections. Here's a brief look at the stages:
