Lmao jq3520 I have mine in between my kitchen and my living room and I have gotten a "is that...??? Is that what I think it is??" What? A "stripper" pole...no a pole fitness pole :) haha
...you have made-up and memorized full routines in your head to all your favorite songs.
You grab a door handle while exiting a room and think "Wow, this is grippy...what this material? And you are at work."
You have spent the last few days trying to figure out where to find & what containers you can use small enough to carry rubbing alcohol, & some kind of small foldable rag in your smallish going out purse, just in case you run into a poling opportunity while you are out.
You may be a pole dancer if.... You always keep a pair of pole shorts, tank top, thong underwear, & sports bra in your car because you never know when a pole jam is going to pop off. You're in Zumba, Pilates, or yoga & you look at certain girls in class who have great lines, form, flexibility &/or sassiness & you think she would be an awesome poler, maybe I should talk to her. When you & your husband see an empty space in a shopping center near your home, you both look at each other & HE says that might make a great pole studio babe. When your husband suggests you should talk to your Zumba studio about teaching pole there after you get your pole & PT certification. I say yeah I've fantasized about that but the ceilings wouldn't work. And his response: There are ways around that or you could use stand alones lol
You know you're a new pole dancer when you get your first bruise, run to take a picture, send it to tons of people and post on instagram and facebook with the caption of "YESSSSSSSSS bruise victory!"
You may be a pole dancer when you siginificant other vetos all you christmas present wish list as they are all related to poling. :-(

When you're out in public and every single pole/tree trunk/light post becomes an impromptu photo op!
You're a pole dancer and proud of it if... Your teacher know about your pole and tell it in front of the whole classroom. She said that the first time she saw me i was up a pole, it took me a moment to realize that my mom had show her one of my pic while she study there. The face of the few people who didn't know about it was amazing :P
You KNOW you're a pole dancer two years after you break your hip and agree to have the pins and hardware removed because you miss poling so much. Yep. I'm still checking out the Venna site and missing it every damn day. So in about 2 weeks I'm having them remove the hardware. I wasn't even that good at it but something about poling touched my spirit and o have to try and be able to go back to it.
-you've used your blow dryer on your pole... -you love leg warmers... -you've said the words, "Really, it's not what you think." -you think you should own stock in Epsom salt companies...
oh my, I love this thread! I have been poling for a few months only and can already relate so much! >>You are a pole dancer if whenever you are in a train or undergroung coach you look at the vertical metal bars that people hold on to and think "mmm, those look good for poling..." >> you are a pole dancer when you are at a friend's place and think her spare room would be great for poling
>>you are a pole dancer when you get offered a great job opportunity in another town and before even considering it you look upo whether they have pole studios there ;o)
If you're pregnant and you tell your husband "There's NO WAY I'm converting my pole room into a nursery!"
