spin

To me it looks like a variation of the reverse grab..

Polecat to pretzel.

Angel to pretzel here.Everything has so many names in pole!

There are so many names it's crazy, I love the spin though..

That link has it as a beginner spin but I wouldn't say it is: it's twisted grip and needs a lot of wrist conditioning, forearm and grip strength and shoulder girdle/core stability not to mention coordination!

Veena lesson https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/4fc631e5-4354-4c33-8b45-7bf40ac37250bits listed as advanced and named as ballerina or pretzel spin

Agree with Tropical. Learnt it in upper intermediate.

Is it possible to do in a static bar?

Do you mean static pole? Yes it's possible to do all spins on static..

yes, veena has a lesson for this spin. the ballerina spin, like Tropical VErtical said. it is in the advanced section and she shows how to do this spin on both static and spinning pole

Yes Aradia listed this one as a beginner must. Spiral into ballerina. Im sceptical on how this is a beginner material as well but... some kids can do it from the first try. It is a reverse grab, split grip from behind depends how stretched you are and how you catch the momentum, but slow motion requires to push away from the pole forward so that lower hand is your big help.... I wish i would've known then what I know now... I was doing this spin right before I started to invert. And because I was practising a lot my spiral with different variation along with inverts somehow I thought inversions affected my shoulder but all it was is this spin that was introduced too soon to me. That's how I found this site and when I purchased my lessons and saw Veena's order and explanation for these particular moves I completely stopped doing it until I healed and became stronger. It is a beautiful spin but you have to be strong and flexible in your shoulders.

I wouldnt think of that as a beginner spin. Who is Aradia zoilife? sorry, haha! never heard of her.... I am finding that so many beginners dont want to be told they shouldnt do something and they go and do it anyways and then complain that they are injured because they feel they are the exception. It definitely doesnt help that there are people out there telling polers that things like this are beginner moves. :(

I agree, people need to work up to these spins and most importantly be safe..

Yes, it's a ballerina spin on spinning pole. This spin can also be done on static. BOTH are shown in the lesson. The static variation requires more strength. IT'S NOT A BEGINNER MOVE! 🙈

It is funny how there are so many names. Like that sephra ( can't apell) move everyone was talking about. I known it as Tinkerbell >
