Newbie considering pole purchase & membership!

Hi, I found this website while doing research on the pole I plan on purchasing (XPOLE xpert 45mm brass). I am an exotic dancer and was given a cheap pole when I first started which is the worst pole on earth but good for when I needed practice with pole walks, pirouettes, etc. Now I tried a pole studio but wasn't super impressed with the majority of instructors. So I thought maybe it's time to get my own pole. I have never used a brass pole but am very inclined to buy one...I have two questions! 1) do u suggest brass or TG? I have the sweatiest hands sometimes (got made fun of as a kid for it too!) so I thought brass, being that I've read it's the grippiest might be best for me... 2) I'm loving the website...I was thinking of starting with the one month membership...if I do is there a discount on purchasing the XPOLE xpert 45mm brass? Thanks in advance?!!

Brass, I have really sweaty hands (also made fun of as kid) and I have both brass and TG poles. The grip on the brass is great when I am sweaty, and I just slide off the TG. I have exactly the same problem with leg grips and brass is far superior.

awe man, CHRISWARNER i just purchased the TG! I couldn't wait any longer and decided to get it since it was $70 cheaper than the brass and its my FIRST pole...worst case scenario I could sell it if it doesnt work. I don't find that I have any serious grip issues but I will make an update as soon as i get the pole...I am honestly just really excited to sayyyyy "i have a titanium gold xpert xpole!!" sounds soooo cool (i know so shallow right! lol)

Hi Vanessa! Don't stress about which finish you bought, there's always a way to work about any grip issues! If you are not sweaty the TG should work well for you, I love mine, but I also like my brass because it's a smaller diameter. If you find you do sweat, then come on back here and either do a search on what to use or just ask us. I'm so happy you're enjoying the site! Remember that all lessons in each section are placed in a progressive order so just start by watching the first one and you'll know how to proceed from there! EASY! I also have a 30 day take off program, included in the lessons, and it will take you through 30 days, focusing on building, strength, flexibility and technique needed to advance! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4KzMIIbZH0 You'll find way more than just pole also, I'd check out the Veena's tips, and you'll find other strength building exercise that don't require any equipment in the Conditioning and Quick Lesson sections. :)
