New Member/Have some questions!!

Hello Ladies! I am pretty new to pole dancing and this site, but I am super excited!! I am about a month in and am finding these instructional videos fantastic. I am experiencing a couple of different things...First, when I'm climbing the pole it is hard for me to keep spinning while up there? I do have a static pole. Do you have any suggestions? Also, it seems I keep hitting the same spot of my shin on the pole which is really casuing a lot of bruising? Has anyone else experienced this? I look forward to your help! Thanks so much!- Laura

Hello and welcome! 😀 Can I ask why you are trying to spin while climbing? Are you trying to do the Standing Fireman?? It's common to have points of contact become bruised and tender when first learning. Make sure you are not poling everyday, this will rest your muscles and your bumps and bruises. Thanks so much for getting back to me! Yes, I am learning how to do the standing fireman. It seems once I do it, I can't keep my momentum. Do you have any suggestions?

Keeping momentum going really take practice, really focus on using the push and swing legs to help increase momentum. ❤️
