I wish I could justify getting this. it is so much less bulky so it would work really well in my house, but the cost comes out to be $1,045.00 USD. :( http://www.r-polefitness.com/Pole_Dance_Poles_International_s/74.htm

It doesn't look like it would be very good for dancing though, just tricks...
The website doesn't say that it would be for dancing and with those bars at the bottom, I can't imagine how you could?
It's a practice stand
I really want one of those too!! I also want a grip tease sleeve.
Grip tease would be awesome!
They seriously need to make it more affordable. I can't imagine that they sell much of it cuz it costs as much as the pole itself.
I know right!? I don't even see a website for it, but I did hear it was pricey.
They only have a facebook site I think. This was one of their posts: Im getting pole artists to send me ( Melbourne ,Australia) there pole special price for XPolers $350 plus shipping
personally, I'd rather get a 1 piece pole gripteased as the separate x pole pieces eventually need replacing over time due to various reasons.
I have a feeling getting the sleeve over anything longer than the Xpole sections would prove extremely difficult.
I suppose that's true, so in that case, they really need to make the product more affordable.
I really do not see this as this "awesome" option. Moves on this are going to be EXTREMELY limited unless you are someone as amazeballs as Jenyne or Rebecca Star. And I honestly think it is going to get very grimy and nasty in a very short amount of time. I do not see being able to do any spins, no drops, anything that requires you to slide any part of your body across the pole (say goodbye to superman) plus some moves/transitions are going to be almost impossible. There are so many combos that we do not realize we are sliding hand positions to get the necessary positioning. Now if you are only doing static holds on spin mode then this may be an option.
And as a side note, the R Pole does have both a mat option and a hard stage option. The hard option makes the pole $1287 without shipping.
yah it's crazy pricey!
